Default what type, brand shock absorber for 2003 club ds

I had recently posted a question about lift kit, HD leaf springs etc. and forgot to ask about shocks. Since we're going to change the springs thought we should Change the shocks also. Question- are there particular name brand shocks to use? When I search online golf car parts vendors I see shocks for a club car but don't see any particular brand label on the items i.e. like Monroe. Are they generic brands? We're newbie at this so all advice welcome.

Nobody seems to have better options for the front. I bought new CC shocks for front on my DS but they feel as weak as the old ones! It's like they have no resistance

Nobody recommends one, that I've seen, outside of the stock club car shocks

. . . one could just measure the extended/compressed length required and go to the Monroe website and match up to their available shock that is same mounting (top and bottom) and extended/compressed lengths . . .

it depends on the width of the mounting bushing on the bottom of the shock
