Default Club Car fully charged, hear relay click, still won't drive

We had some snowy cold weather here in NYC last night, and we battled against it all night throwing most equipment into service, including this brand spanky new long bed cart that the office manager lady uses. Guys were out hauling bags of ice melt with it or something I guess. Anyway, come daybreak the cart was found abandoned in the snow, and wouldn't drive. After towing back to my shop I found the batteries sufficiently charged, the reverse alarm will sound when in reverse, and an audible click comes from a relay when the accelerator pedal is depressed. But no drive. This cart is of course under warranty, but I don't think I'll be seeing that guy for a couple days. These office folk are desperate for this cart, and if I can get it to operate I'm sure to get a few high fives around the complex. Does anyone have a quick fix for this they would be willing to share?

Something might have gotten wet. Let it dry out inside and see if it starts working. If it's new I wouldn't mess with it too much before having it serviced under warranty.

Did you ask them what transpired when the cart failed?

Did you put it in tow mode when you towed it?

I would pull the seat and start chasing wires, look for something un plugged. Check the mcor wire conection. Did it get wet? I would look underneath for wires hanging down?
Whats the voltage on the batt pack? No simple fix and I'm sure you already know these ideas. Undo the main wires from the battery pack and re connect then try to run? Is the charger kicking on?

yeah, I flipped the tow/run switch before I towed it. as for what happened it seems no one knows. As with most break downs here no one has come forward as the operator at the time. They were not even supposed to be using this cart last night, so go figure.

Maybe you should contact De Blasio and he can start a special investigation into who is missusing this cart? Ha Ha

well, I'm a dumbass. low batteries. never trust the digital dash gauge I guess. That and try not to perform diagnostics when you've worked through the night without sleep... That's it, I'm going home.

Lol if its the led bar type then yea, never trust is. Order a nice digital read out type. www.cartsunlimited.net they are a site sponsor. It sounds like it would be a great investment

My grandpa once told me that sometimes the problem is solved by the easiest fix.

I wonder if they messed up the batteries running them that low.
