Everyone is looking for more power or more speed! What about a better ride? My '07 Club car DS 48 volt does 20 mph on flat smooth surfaces thanks to the speedy link I installed and climbs every hill and crosses all the creeks while out hunting but, the ride is so rough that it just beats you to death. The tire pressure is set at 5 lbs. has a 6 inch A-Arm lift with a 2 inch body lift in front and 1 inch shackle lift in the rear. Had to add body lift and shackles once I added 3 inch wheel spacer to keep the 12" wheels from rubbing. Thinking about removing one of the shorter leaf springs in the rear but, what about the front? Hate to spend a grand on a jake's long travel lift kit. Any suggestions?

Re: Rides rough!
What tires are you using? Some such as All-Trails are very stiff and ride horrible off-road.My Dad had a set,I drove it once and told him sell the tires if he wanted to trail-ride it.They were so stiff, that at 5psi,you could barely crush the tread-area with your foot pressing on it.If you run very rough trails that are clean(not branches,sharp-rocks,etc...)run a 2-ply tire,Otherwise run a 4-ply.Old-School Knobbies ride good and perform decent without ruining your lawn as well.Hope this helps.
