Default Lift Kit... How much actual Lift?

I have an 05 Precedent with 8" rims. I want to put on a 6" lift with 23x10.5x12 tires! Can anyone tell me how much higher it will actually lift my cart!?
I want to make sure I have enough clearance to get it in my garage before I buy the wheels and tires!
Thanks in advance,
ThatGuy

Just under Nose Bleed height! I have 23X10.5x11's and have a 3" lift and have no problems. with the 12's you'll need a minimum of 4" which will raise you only 8". I would have loved the 6" kit but someone else told me it was to High and she wouldn't ride in it. I also had to consider getting in my 10X14 foot shed. I had to have an extra 1/2' height to get full 6 foot doors on it so I could drive in without hitting the top

Oops, I forgot something. I opted for the 11's because I didn't need wheel shims for turning clearance. You will with the 12's

Outakash all I want to know is how much higher it will lift it up. I have stock 8" rims with 205 tires and want to go to the 23x10.5x12 with a 6" lift kit. The rims are offset so I won't need shims.

well lets go to math class

6 inch lift probably be 6 inches give ro take 1/2(mine was about 5.5)
23 inch tires. again depends on brand but probably + or -1/2 inch
stock are 18 inchers so 23 minus 18=5 divided by 2 = 2.5(half above rim, half below rim
so 6 plus 2.5 =8.5 of actual lift, give or take an inch.

lifts and tires vary greatly as to actual heights so hard to tell with out actually measuring. a 22 inch tire could also be smaller/bigger depending ion what wirth rim it is mounted on.
