Batteries draining, moves without pushing pedal
I have an older model resistor club car. The batteries won't stay charged. Ive figured out it's because something is screwed up, keeping the circuit completed. When I flip the FNR switch to either gear, it moves. There are sparks on the backside of the switch. Anybody seen this before?

Re: Batteries draining, moves without pushing pedal
Sounds like the solenoid is either stuck closed or being always energized.

Might check the small micro switches in the system. This happened on my 86 marathon and thats what it was.

Re: Batteries draining, moves without pushing pedal
Single solenoid or 5 solenoid car? Either way, as previously mentioned, you have an activated solenoid. Remove the wires from a small solenoid terminal to determine if an activation issue or welded solenoid.
