Fuse box and voltage reducer questions

This is the second cart I've modified, but the first with electrical mods.

I just bought a 2012 precedent as my personal cart. I added a Madjax 30 amp converter. The converter has switched hot and a constant hot outputs. I want to add multiple accessories off of the converter. So, I'm looking at a bluesea 5025 fuse box. I like that it has a negative bar. My question is do I need two boxes? One for the constant and one for the switched. The constant hot would primarily be used for the stereo. I read on a review that the 5026 (a larger unit) could be taken apart and used for constant and switched applications.

I was also thinking of adding a small panel switch similar to what you see on boats for accessory applications like ground effects lighting.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Electrical stuff is not my forte.

You probably would need two different fuse boxes- one for switched, one for constant. Otherwise if you had them both going to one fuse box it would always be hot due to the constant wire...

By stereo do you mean the blue wire for retaining settings? If so, and it's the only constant you're looking at, I'd think you could run an in-line fuse for it and the 5025 for everything else??

I've been researching same thing only I don't want a receiver... just an amp/speakers to run off my iPhone. How you like the MadJax reducer? I've been looking at it and ScottyB's along with the 5025 or this which appears to be same thing, minus the cover, at half the price. My Precedent came with the smaller 16v to 12v MadJax reducer to run the lights but I want to change it so I can add other accessories and have an even pull on the pack.

I ended up ordering a Blueseas independent circuit fuse block with jumpers. I can fit everything on one block. Which is nice as space is limited.

Hopefully all my orders will come in tomorrow, so I can tinker over the weekend.

Check out the Blueseas independent circuit fuse block. I'm installing the constant hot and the switched hot out of the reducer into the block. Then I'm using jumpers as needed out to the accessories. I'm using two blue seas buss bars for the ground.

My only beef with the Madjax reducer (30) amp unit is the constant hot appears to be 16 gauge. I think this is a little light. I want to run the lights, some LEDs and constant stereo wire off of this line. The switched hot appears to be 14 gauge which is fine.

I did install an inline switch on the reducer. I will keep this cart at the beach where it will be stored for prolonged periods of time. Even though the charger will handle the slight drain while the cart is stored, I wanted the option to shut the system down.
