Default No go

Older model CC. First I had a stuck solenoid. I replaced that and it was working fine. Made one trip around the yard then put it on charge. When I took it off, it's a no go. The solenoid clicks, but nothing happens. What's the problem?

Does this cart have one solenoid or 5? Did you replace it with a golf cart solenoid or automotive solenoid?

One solenoid. I replaced it with a cart one. It still clicks, but won't move.

These old carts are pretty much bullet proof. I would open the V-glide case and make sure the wiper arm is moving its full range of motion. It is the black pie box between the batteries under the seat...

Check all the high amperage connections too including the F&R and motor stud connections.

Anything look burnt, broken, etc...? Are the cables tight on the motor studs?

Sure the solenoid is really working, not just clicking? Try rolling the cart a few ft and try again to go (bad motor brushes)? Like Jake says not much to this drive system.... bad F&R contact?

Tomorrow I'll recheck everything. I'll also check the solenoid for continuity when the pedal is pressed.

Remove one side of the resistor for this test. Or just bolt both big cables to one stud to bypass the solenoid and see if she runs ...
