I would just do that. Then you will know you will not have problems down the road. The batteries you just bought were 6v, right?

Yeah I brought to a cart shop and they told me what I needed but we never looked at the charger port till O got home and realized it didn't work thanks for all the help guys

club car charger plug question
I recently found this old Club Car Accu-Charge cart charger with the crowfoot two prong plug. I don't have any carts here that use this plug anymore, so the thing is useless to me, if it even works. But I wonder if one of those newer style round plugs they currently use on Club Cars could be fitted to this charger. I have plenty of those carts around here. Is that something that could be done?

But there is always the possibility that that charger does not work.
