Is it safe to say that this will work on a 99 DS 48v Series as well? Wiring the converter to the key as such.

I'm not the expert and maybe Crash will answer up but in theory, the concept is the same. As long as you have a 48 to 12 converter.

I have my 48V converter wired through my key switch. However, my converter has a trigger wire and that is the one wired to my switch.
