Precedent Price?
A local dealer said he can put me in 06 CC Precedent, with lights, rear seat, and 07 batts. for $2,400. I have seen the cart, looks ok...needs detailing, it came from a golf course. Seems like a great price, just don't know if Precedent is the cart I want to go with. Say, comparing to an older model DS or even an Ez Go PDS, opinions please? BTW, it does come with a one year warranty.

Re: Precedent Price?
Thats a great price, almost "too good to be true".
Compared to an older model DS, I don't like precedent batteries they use the 4 12v until 08 when they started offering both. They don't have as long a life as the others, and are more particular to how you treat them. The front suspensions on the precedents I hate, I rebuild the spindles by basically going back to the DS style spindle bushings with the thrust bearing and usually not reaming them out. It makes them a little tight, but better than all the slack that is usually there. I still am a big fan of DS IQ cars, their suspensions are tried and true, the electrical system is almost the same and the precedent, and the batteries are the 6 8vs. |

Re: Precedent Price?
Ok, the batts. will be 06's same as cart with 1year bumper to bumper warranty. How would you guys compare the Precednet Iq with the PDS? Let me know.
Thanks |

Re: Precedent Price?
Can't be done correctly for that price - guaranteed. The cart alone would sell for more than that in the DFW area...

Re: Precedent Price?
Ok,
He tells me he normally only deals with EZ Go, however, he bought a fleet of Precedents from a local country club, because he knew he could flip them. He tell's me he's basically selling me the cart for $1900 and will be in the hole about $150 after the sale/mods. And he's is only doing this to move the carts and only has couple left...maybe he already made his money on them? I have dealt with him before, I'd say he's telling me 90% of the truth. |

Re: Precedent Price?
Ok,
The cart's serial # reads PQ05,...so it's really an 05. Does this really change anything? Either way I will insist on at least 06 batts. Out the door $2400. |
