Yes wanting to know how to wire the new charger receptacle. And yes it has a round plug on it no I think it was a Frankenstein cart cause the part cart look to be the 48v and this is the one 36v but he must have not none what he was doing cause u can tell that part had been changed out . He told me the reason why he was selling it was he didn't want to buy batteries he tried to charge it but it didn't work so he brought charger to shop to check out and they said it was fine so he thought it was his batteries that where dead so he through them out and sold it to me so I bought new batteries and tried to charge it and charger never came on so that's when I did my research so I sold the charge to someone that had a 48v cart and it work so that's when I knew I he change to part out and he must have thought it would work with the 48v receptacle on a 36v motor. So that where I'm at I ordered new charge and receptacle now just need to know how to hook up thanks
Sorry if this is confusing

So are you trying to wire the new round 3 plug 48v or the 2 prong 36v?

No he's trying to install the original receptacle in an 89 to 94 cart he got it with the 48v receptacle but he got new batteries and is changing it back to 36v because that's what the cart was originally 36v and now he has a 36 V receptacle to put in the cart but he needs to know how to wire it because it has to be wire like a 36 volt receptacle and he used to be wire like a 48v receptacle when he got it where does the red wire go?

If you are wiring the 36v 2 prong, use the diagram you posted....
