Locking Differential
Has anyone bought and installed the Silverwolf Locking Differential. Was wondering how well it performs and if it is worth the investment?
Here is the link: http://www.silverwolfmotors.com/prod...g-differential Thanks |

IDK but those AC Brushless Wheel Motors are sick! Looks like some high quality stuff. Ok I'm done now, back to the topic at hand...

Re: Locking Differential
Yes. I've used it, hundreds of times. It's the same one Club Car used to carry. It was sold by Club Car as the IntelliLok. It's good stuff. Those hub motors seem to be legit too. I just built my first 4x4 cart with those on it and it's very impressive.

Re: Locking Differential
Where are you seeing $650? My browser isn't listing prices on their page.

Re: Locking Differential
I went to one of their dealers pages listed on the "Distributed By" tab on the top of their page. They apparently don't sell direct. M&M Motors had them listed for $650.00. King of Carts page says $595.00. $4k plus for the wheel motor kits.

Re: Locking Differential
Here is some info for you:
http://kingofcarts.net/product_categ...tric-4wd-kits/ I have driven them and they are amazing. I have also talked with the owners of Silver Wolf and got some training. They have some other cool stuff coming out that will change the way we think about Electric carts. Can't say yet....but trust me it is NICE!!!!! These AC motors actually improve run time the way they are set up. More efficient, free wheel after a certain mph, not that heavy....the kit is very impressive! Give your site sponsor King of Carts a call. Tell them you found out about it through the forums here.... Ask for Mark Dixon |
