top speed
HI all
I just got this cart I know it sat for some time not sure how long. its a 1991 cc 36v it don't seem to have top speed. Its a v glide. When with freind who as 2004 36v ez go cart. Mine will not keep up to his. He as more top speed I know his is stock. He said his top speed is 15 to 17mph. looks like some of the wiring needs cleaning some rust on nuts. Going to do this is there any more I should look at? or I'm hoping that mine shoud be able to do 15 to 17 mph? thanks tazz |

Re: top speed
if its a controller cart yes you can swap all 6 gage cables to 4 gage you can get a bigger controller and a high speed motor......that will get you in the 23 to 25 mph range............................or as mentioned go to 48 volt but i think it might be cheaper to just upgrade and keep it 36 volt.....................................
