charger will not turn off
Any one know why after 14 hour of charging on my 46 volt 01 Club Car the charger wont cut off? I have checked the batteries and they all hold a loaded charge. Unloaded they all read above 8.5 volts.TIA

what age are batteries? and depending its not uncommon for charger to stay on for 16 hours........has this just started or was any work done to it.........i,m not saying this is your problem but i have noticed in the last year that one of the symptons of the OBC going bad is charger will not shut off...........can you try the charger on another cart?.........................

You answered my question for now!lol I just bought the cart Tuesday and the people I bought it from had not charged it at their lot for a couple of weeks.I restarted the charger at 2:30 and it's already down to 3volts an hour later. I'm hopping it has just not had a chance for a full charge.My employee is bringing his cart tomorrow and I can try my charger on his if it does not turn off.

I just had new Trojan 605 batt. installed and I have a lester charger. I let the charger go for 5 hrs and it had not shut off.Is there somthing I needed to do after replacing the old Batt.?** 7 6 volt Batt Thanks for any help
