Default Controller

I was reading a thread and someone told him he needed to change all the 6 gauge cables(to what?) and maybe a new controller(?), I am new to this what is all that about, I have a 99 club cart 48v I am planing on lifting and 20" or 22" tires

changing all of the 6g cables to 4g allows for more amperage to flow potentially delivering more power depending on the limits of your controller.

is there a complete kit with 4 gauge wires, one that includes the 5 for battery and the pwr and grd? thanks

Most kits include only the battery to battery cables...ignoring the fact that the longer runs are even more critical. Like the F&R switch to motor run.

so when replacing battery to battery and the battery to pwr and battery to ground, what else should be replaced with 4 gauge? thanks!

Basically everything thaat the manufacturer put 6g wire on....that should be replaced with 4g for increased amperage flow...

You can buy complete kits, cost more, but saves you trouble.

where have not found one and locally it will run me 60 to 75 dollars, tks
