Default Plum Quick Bandit in 2010 Precedent Excel UPDATE! l

Several weeks ago I told you about going down to Ft. Mill SC to Plum Quick. As I stated in the previous post, I picked up a Plum Quick Bandit for my 2010 Precedent Excel. The cart has 18 inch tires and is not lifted. Well, I went to the coast this past weekend and brought the cart back to swap the motor. WOW!!! My cart is on speed code 3. It ran 15 MPH on flat ground measured with my handheld GPS. I changed the motor that is all. It is still on speed code 3. The only change is the motor. In less than an 1/10 of a mile on flat ground with the same handheld GPS it runs 25 MPH. I think it will probably do a little more but I just have a short flat area in front of the house. I am satisfied with the speed. I really don't want to go faster in a stock cart with stock brakes, plus I have a 14 year old daughter. If you have an Excel and want to go faster, the guys at Plum Quick can fix you up. I am very pleased. One more thing, the handle they weld on the case is a back saver.

Great news! My first PQ Bandit upgrade is in the mail and should be here on Wednesday. I can't wait.

They guys over at PQ have been a real pleasure to deal with.

My motor arrived at PQ today. Can't wait to get it back after the Bandit upgrade. I also purchased 2AWG wires from Scottyb's Carts Unlimited. Figured it was time for upgrades and I can't wait to see the results.

I have had similar results with my Bandit motor as well on my 2009 Precedent. It was the absolute best bang for the buck I have done. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a performance increase that won't break the bank.

Mymonster, I'm going for an almost identical upgrade with 22 inch wheels, pq exectutioner and 500 amp controller. What speed do you get on the flat? Have you tried it with a loaded cart on hills? Many thanks
