Default Lost all lights and horn.

Had a brake wire shorted out because it was touching the motor terminal. I mended the wire but I can't get my lights and horn to work again. 2007 Club Car DS with IQ, 48 volt (4 X 12) with a cheap voltage reducer that I installed. Any help will be appreciated.

. . . try running 12v directly to lights/horn to verify that they are still functional . . if they are, then test the output of your reducer to verify it is still functional . . . may have cooked the reducer with the short . . . let us know . . .

Look for a blown fuse.

Finally got back my problem and the fuse was OK so I connected the wires directly to the battery, bypassing the voltage reducer and all my lights and accessories turned back on. My special thanks to Stevegrmich and jjance for responding with the correct fix.

Wouldn't a reducer be needed to avoid 48v going down the wires or did you just hook up one battery?

. . I am sure he tested with only 8-12v to determine if reducer was working . . . he will probably purchase/install new reducer . . or troubleshoot the reducer's wiring, whichever fixes the issue . . .
