36v club losing speed
I have a 1990 club car 36 v resistor cart. Being new to carting I dumped a bunch of money into a 36 v instead of going ahead and getting a 48. New batteries h/d f and r switch, new 4gauge cables, new v-glide, new resistor plate, new solenoid, lift kit and 22 tires. Lately it slows to a crawl on the mildest of sloping hills..cart used to do 14 mph now I am lucky to get 10 on flat ground. It's not the tires because it was doing better with the same set up.could I have bad resistor coils.any input is greatly appreciated.

Re: 36v club losing speed
1990 DS should have one solenoid, 5 resistor coils, v-glide, 36V.
Sounds like a battery or charging issue since it goes, just slower. Would check the batteries, each and as a pack, and pack when running. Charge first, then let rest for 12 hours, then take readings. Post those numbers and someone can help you out. |
