OK so this is a couple months worth or work but:

Front and rear ends overhauled with new bolts/nuts
1" lift plate in front - heavy duty springs in rear
12" wheels/tires 215/35-12
rear flip seat conversion, 4-way seat belts
custom stereo enclosure with 8" Kicker Marine Speakers JVC Marine Radio
Locking Dash with 7-way carling switches
Lights/electronics galore - LED Lightbar, Reverse LEDs, underbody LEDs / sports mirrors with LED indicators
Underseat Tray with SeaChoice Fuseblocks / Voltage Reducer / Circuit Breakers.

Used it for three weeks on vacation and only minor adjustments to the lights needed! Special shout out to Sergio who helped with the relay/diode circuits and troubleshooting some last minute electrical issues with the lighting system.

Nice work. I have those same switches in my cart also. If I could give any advice....I'd paint my front struts to match the rear. Great Job!

I painted everything that was steel (covered in RUST) with rust treatment + black caliper paint. On a 20 year old cart that has been outside at the beach it was a battle to treat the rust to say the least.

So yrs ago I went out and picked up a sad little CC DS. It had no roof, 3 flat tires, no batteries, and a very big dog had eaten about 1/2 the seat back and bottom. From the CL ad I could see it was not very old, one piece seat back, 4 spoke steering wheel, dual cup holders... so I went to look. Add body damage to off camera side and no brakes ! I drove home wondering if this wasn't really just an addiction? But at $150 I was game. I took the cart to the ranch where it has sat for 4 or 5 yrs. I know But CU is a 14 hour a day job at times and when it's not, some days I don't want to look at another cart.

Today was the day. Last night I got new Batts for my industrial so I put the old 6/8v in the little CC, made a few cables, and bang I got forward and reverse. Went to charge..... nuthin... replaced the OBC and she's charging now... Good news is the serial # says she is a 2002 Series DS. I got a new seat and some brake parts and roof from my collection of stuff .... now looking for a body or thinking about a gel coat repair.
