2010 48v club car precedent . surges at lower speeds
2010 club car surges at lower speeds .. full throttle seems to pull fine . but at lower speeds it surges .. creeping up to speed and then dropping again continuously .. without any movement of throttle .. i have looked through other threads with this problem .. dont seem to be able to find the answer .. can anyone help ? .. thanks

I would say mcor but that doesn't seem right either. Hmmmmm interesting!!

Mine had a hesitation and almost felt like it was cutting out as well. It is a 2009 model Excel system. Turns out is was the jumper harness between the MCOR and main wiring harness by the throttle. Tahoedog's post on the subject is what led me to it. The part number for it is 103682701. It was a weak spot in 2009, but I'm not sure about 2010. Maybe some of the experts here will chime in.

Check the wiring to the motor. Especially the field winding.

how do you tell if its a IQ or excel ,system

Check your serial number. If it's a PH you have an excel system. The serial number should be located on passenger side kick panel.
