Batteries
Hello Everyone,
I will be putting new 8 volt batteries in my 48 volt 2002 cc ds. I have been searching and there are alot of options. Looking for the longest run time and it seems the Trojan ranger at 160min/56amps 204 ah would be best choice but they are expensive. Any suggestions, duracell at sams, crown, or stick with Trojan, thanks. |

Re: Batteries
Six volt batts on average have a lot more amp/ hr capacity in them then 8 volt batts , ( amp /hr capacity determines range ) my 48 volt pack have 260 amp/ hr (Crowns )where typical 8 volt batts have a top,end of 170 -195 amp/ hr , also the six volt batts will last longer ( life span )
Then 8 volt , the only disadvantage is approx. 120 ibs extra weight that you carry Which is a trade off I'm willing to make for longer range and life span |
