Default 4-12 Volt Batteries

Does anyone still run this configuration and are you pleased with it?

. . . my 2006 DS has this setup and it suits my needs for scooting around the campground at the 6mph speed limit . . .

Stevegrmich I just don't think I have the ingenuity to change the configuration.

Works fine in the development I live in. Most I ever drive in a day is 10 miles. That is in flat Florida.

Thanks! After everything I've seen on here 12 volt batteries seem taboo.

What year is your cart? You may not need to convert anything. Late model Precedents (2008.5 and newer) will allow you to drop 8V batteries right in.

I have an '07 Precedent running four rebuilt 12v's. No problems. I have learned from others on here that run time is the biggest issue with a 4-12 set-up, although I don't know if anyone can really attest to a significant difference. Speed should not be an issue from what I understand. Good luck.
