Default Club car precedent speaker & sub install

Hey guys!i was wondering if you could help me? I just recently installed speakers in my precedent and am looking to add a sub to it.. And i don't know which one to get or where to mount it, so many choices.. I could get a bazooka or i could get one with a actual box. I have no idea where to put it where it will sound its best.. And is the bazooka even good? IF i don't get a bazooka can I install a sub in my backset behind the seats? And if i do where could i mount the bazooka? Is it possible to put it under a rear seat? I heard that if you put put a rear seat and a sub in precedent it dramatically slows it down.. ( sorry I'm skipping from one thing to another ) I guess my question is what sub is better and where is an ideal mounting place for each option? If you guys can help that would be great! thanks

so is the bazooka better than a regular sub? And how did you get the bazooka to stay there and actually make the golfcart shake? It looks like it is just hanging is that the case? And how great is that sub? sorry for the questions bro, just need to get this done right away

I mounted the green tie down straps and then put the sub in there and strapped it tight so it wouldn't move. It sounds great but by no means is it a bass machine. I wanted a clean sound and Im pretty satisfied from it. Ive seen custom boxes made under the rear seat but chose to install the extra battery there.

Oh ok so it's not a good bass machine and doesn't make the golfcart boom. And it only make las the song sound better? Would I be better off building a custom box if I wanted to make the golfcart boom?

I have an 8" bazooka sub mounted in the same spot as the above poster. Mine hits hard enough the campground asked me not to turn it on unless I was out in the open areas away from the center of the camp. I would put my system next to most car's systems. I have since added two bazooka tubbies and a set of polk component speakers. Two amps, a 450 watt and 330 watt. The sub is 250 watts self amplified.

Ya because I'm really debating on what I should do... I could get a bazooka but some people say they are good and some people say they are not.. A nice custom box would look cool but require more money and work that I'm not willing to put into it.. Is the bazooka good making the cart shake? And does it really hit hard?

everyone has an opinion but I have used bazookas since 1994 and find them to be very efficient and well made. I have one in both of my carts, my wrangler, and my wife's SUV.

Exactly. They are just that, efficient and well made. My system is one of the louder ones I've heard and you can definitely hear bass, but again, it's no bass machine lol. From all your questions, I think you want more than a bazooka on a cart. In a vehicle they sound a lot louder.

Ok where would you suggest putting the sub? And do you know of any threads of designs for my cart?
