Default Club car precedent wheels stopping

Hey guys I put my cart on jacks and floored it.. When I did the carts wheels would go and stop, go and stop and you could feel it.. Anyone know what's wrong?.. Is it something to worry about? I really me to know thanks guys!

That's not a problem. That means the speed sensor is working. It's monitoring RPMs and keeping the motor from over-revving.

Or there is no signal from the speed sensor and the controller is in limp mode, it was kinda hard to see how fast the tires were turning. How fast does your cart go.

if the speed sensor isnt working the motor wont surge. It will just go slow

They say you should never run your motor with the wheels off the ground.

Very true, this is why the speed sensor does exactly what it's doing in this video. To keep from damaging the motor when it's being run in the air.
