Default Got my 97 DS upgraded

Hello, new to the site and new to golf carts in general. Looking forward to learning and hanging out with all you.

A little background on my cart. I was given (yes given) a lifted 97 club car 48v with brand new tires. Go me. It didn't run. I put new batteries in it, (Duracells from Batteries Plus, shoot me later, I said I'm new) Still didn't run so I decided to take it to a local shop. They quoted me a price to fix it, after some flim flamming on my end, decided to not only fix it, but do some upgrades as well. (super happy with how it runs now) I believe the guy that did the work is a member of this forum, but I was hoping if you all could tell me exactly what I got. Attached is a picture of my invoice. I know what most of it is, but I'm mainly looking for details on the upgrades portion. What did I gain from stock vs. whatever the upgrades were. If I want even more speed or torque, where can I go from here?

Judging from the invoice, you had a 1997 Club Car with Regen 2 electronics. David hooked you up and fully upgraded the electrical system to the IQ system. For more speed and torque, you could have PlumQuick rebuild your motor or you can buy an upgraded controller.

It was me... Steve I'm glad you're happy. Call me if you wanna talk about doing more. I'll be glad to help... It's defaulted to speed setting 3. I can talk with you about upgrading to speed setting 4 if you'd like. Just let me know. Also, you left your box of old parts here. If you want them you can have them. Not sure if they're good or not, but they're yours.

CCFanatic, It's not just the IQ system. It's the "IQ Torque" system. It consists of a Curtis 350AMP controller and a D&D high torque motor.

scagle, Welcome to BGW, and congrats on your new cart!

But, I just have to say something...
Tahoe (David) is a highly respected BGW member, and knows his stuff!
I can only think of 3 people that I would trust to work on my cart, and one of them is him!
(and... NOBODY works on my cart except ME!)

That being said... You did good!
