Cool wheres it go??trailer hitch

Bought a rear seat today./for 2002 club car,..i suddenly lost my trailer hitch. It is the type you mount the ball on it,... and slide it into the factory slotted aluminum ,holder under the rear bumper. The foot rest for the seat assembly.hides ----where the ball holder- slides in . Anybody have any good ideas on the cure for this. Part of the reason i bought this golf cart was to pull trailers around my yard .. My car trailer for one.

Has anyone found or bought A remedy for this trailer hitch situation..... bob s //thanks for any ideas you can help with .

So there is away to do it!!!!Is the foot board strong enough?, to hold tongue weight........lets say an "empty car trailer"? In your opinion?. Seems Like you wold have Some issues with this seat- set up.I was thinking, if i looked at it long enough, i might be able...............to build a fold away/to upwards fold/the foot board. bob s~~~~~~~~ thanks!! for that tip and picture, sure helps.

Yup,order it from BU,and you will get some Chinese junk that won't fit and they won't accept return on.Check with our site-sponsors for a good part that will fit and work.

. . . there are kits for mounting the hitch to seat kits . . . measure the span under your foot rest between the square tubing and look for kit that will fit that span . . if seat kit is installed properly, the foot rest will support a considerable amount of weight . . . not sure of what amount of tongue weight you are talking, but just think that a couple of large adults can stand on the footrest . . . I use it to pull my cart's 5x10' trailer from back of house to driveway with no issue . . . also use it at campground to haul stuff around . . . when not in use, I just pull hitch out of receiver to save my shins . . .

. . here are a couple of pics from underneath footrest showing front/rear mounting points of hitch kit . . . note that I used a length of square tubing as a shim to make up 1" of space at inner mount point to make a solid install . . click twice on the pics to enlarge them . . .
