96 Club Car Solinoid 48 Volts
Do you test a 48 volt just like a 36 volt ? If you don't see 55ohms across the small studs is it bad ? Can you jump across the small studs while on the cart without burning anything up ?

Yes, they work the same. Basically when you put 48vpos to one small terminal and 48vneg to the other small terminal, the switch is closed and the power moves across the switch from one large terminal to the other...
