Default Reassembling 1991 36V Club Car Getting Messy

I bought a 1991 36v electric club car. The motor was out of the cart. The brushes have been replaced. I don't know if they are in the right slots or not. The insulators and fiber washers are missing on a couple of bolts of the engine. I have "jimmied" the bolts in place with material from the shop.

The batteries hold a good charge. Are they wired correctly? I don't know. Based off of what I have found on here they are. The red (maybe black) and white wires that attach to the batteries, where do they go? Turned the key, it seemed to CRALW. Then never moved again

My 10yr old daughter and I were working on the electrical and she noticed the microswitch was broken. I replaced the switch. There were two switches on the F/R, I took a picture, replaced and rewired...still a no go.

I replaced the solenoid, I don't know if I wired it back correctly or not, or if I mounted it correctly.

I have tried resetting the computer (if that's what it is called).

We are so frustrated...I LOVE IT! What good bonding time with my daughter. We just want the dang thing to work!!

If I had one wish, it would be to know where what color wires go where and where to start. I can't find a colored schematic that I can enlarge (that is still readable) specific for my cart. They are close, but no cigar.

All help is appreciated!!! Thank you in advance.

This sounds like a job for.....CRASH TEST DUMMY (insert Batman music here). He has made color diagrams on resistor carts which I'm sure are high enough resolution (and hopefully the correct year).

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na BATMAAAN!

It does look like that, however, there is one solenoid. I need the wiring for the motor as well. I need to troubleshoot the motor (if necessary), I have changed the brushes and need new insulators. It could be grounding on the motor.

How can I get those images to blow up (to the FBI: when I say "blow up" I am talking about increasing the size of the picture")?

Right click on the picture - do "save picture as" xxx.jpg. The use any photo viewer to zoom in/out. From there, many programs have options to "scale photo to fit" the page.

That should be the correct wiring diagram if your Serial Number is A9151-XXXXXX or less. One solenoid, V-Glide potentiometer, Resistor Coils behind batteries.

You might check out this link for diagrams for your cart.

Not sure why your cart has two Micro Switches on the FnR. Typically, that cart has one micro ON the FnR and one micro IN the V-Glide, for a total of two.
