Default I knew it was too good to be true

Well I put new t875 batteries in my new 2003 DS 48v cart and charged until charger went off. Works fine going down a slight hill, but coming up it beeps. Any idea why?

OK just wingin' it here - since its not an IQ (you stated series in different post) then it can't be a speed sensor beeping (speed sensors do actually beep but you shouldn't have one in that cart). Could it be the reverse buzzer that your describing as beeping? If so - read THIS.

Does it perform OK and just beep?

Yes it is a series cart. About 1/2 mile down a very slight hill it runs about 16 mph, up the same very slight hill it runs about 14 mph and near the middle of the slight hill it starts beeping. when we get back on flat no beep. I fully charged the new batteries which took about 8 hours. Thanks for any advise.

Never heard of that one. I'd unplug it

According to Tahoe - it apparently can happen. Maybe more so when the cart is freshly washed. Saaaayyy....you didn't just wash your new pride and joy did you?

The buzzer. Its under the front cowl attached to the back of the dash panel.

I really don't want to disconnect as reverse buzzer is important to us.

He's suggesting you unplug the buzzer behind the dashboard because most people find it annoying (so do I). But my golf club requires that our carts stay "essentially similar to their fleet" which includes the backup buzzer - annoying or not. Essentially similar also means no lift kits.

I think Tahoe suggested in the article I linked initially, that a 3 wire plug below the F/R might be slightly corroded or dirty - and could just need a contact cleaner and re-plugging - assuming your not going behind the dash.
