How can you tell if you have a sexpex system? And If I don't and want to convert what is required to do that?

InVision---are you thinking about getting bigger tires in the future? If you are, I would advise against changing gears. Going to 22 or 23 inch tires will already put you in the 8:1 gear range. Just sayin---

If you look at the motor and get a woody you have a sexpex system, otherwise its a sepex.

Seriously though, go to stickies to determine what system you have generally if F/r switch is a lever it is series, if rocker it is Sepex

Both systems have their strong points. The series carts are the workhorse drive systems. They produce less heat doing a heavier job than separately excited (sepex) motors. They are the tow motors of golf carts. Great for off road applications. The sepex carts are the on road people movers. They produce more speed and less torque.

Both carts can be used on or off road.
