That entire area around the controller smells burnt, yes, but how can I actually test to see if it works?

pull it shake it in one hand if it rattles have it rebuilt.
my money is on controller at this point solenoid could have dropped out and controller took a hit??

I don't think a 1510 controller has Walkaway.

So it tells me to test for battery voltage through certain pins on the controller, what does it mean if I'm not getting battery voltage through one of them?

So the precharge resistor gets incredibly hot. What does this mean?
