AMD (Advanced) Golf Cart Motor BT6-4002
Has anyone ever used this motor on a series Club Car? I am trying to find out some info on it because a friend has one for sale at cost which is a really good price point. In particular I am trying to find out the RPMs at 48v. Any help would be appreciated.

. . I think you will be seeing ratings of about 4000rpm @36v and 5700rpm @48v . . .

I have looked everywhere with no luck finding the stated RPM info. I really want the 48V in the range of 4800-5000 RPM.

Speed or torque YES !! I obviously searching for something that doesn't exist. Don't really want the cart to go over 26 - 28 mph. But I would like it to be as torquey as possible. Stupid me bought a series cart. Worst yet I really kind of like the darn thing !!

Check out wwwempinc.biz an send them an inquiry. They can build a motor for both speed and torque.

Series carts are the work horse of carts. They have way more torque than sepex systems.

Re: AMD (Advanced) Golf Cart Motor BT6-4002
What does HP mean on these motors? Found some motors that say 6hp and some say 11hp. Both says top speed is 24 mph. I am guessing that the higher the HP the more torque maybe???
