Default Added LED Lights

I added these lights today, 18 watts each and I gotta say I love them. Super bring, mind numbing if you stare at them too long!

Scooterman I just bought those same LED lights, 18w each. Is there a way to link them into my standard headlights (07 precedent)? Do I need a voltage reducer or how do I go about wiring them?

Short answer yes you should have a reducer, any loads including the existing lights will cause an inbalance in charging thus reducing the battery life of the ones your lights are wired to. On average $700 is the cost of a set of new batteries, wearing out one or two prematuaely you will have to replace the one or two sooner than the rest, then if you think well I'll just replace the rest later when they go down, this won't be the case as the way they are charged and discharged will kill them all at the same time thus reducing the life of the two newer battereies. So when it comes time to replace the rest, thoes newer ones will be about as dead as the rest.
That said you can wire direct and it will work, I can't afford that route so I purchased a reducer for another $100. Batteries are very expensive and you want to get the most out of them, that is why we reccomend the reducer and buying batteries in a set.

At work now and I cant look at my cart but I'm wondering if my cart has the aftermarket headlight kit they put on almost all Precedents, does that mean they had to use a reducer on it?
If not and I need to buy a reducer I saw that ScottyB had one for $89. Is that what I would need and then wire it as directed?

Exactly

This is a good quality reducer, here is the 2012 cart I installed it and the location, now If your cart has 4 12V batteries the location won't fit but for 6 8v batteries fits great.
