2006 48v club car electrical issues!
New to the business. I just got a deal on a 06 48v ( serial #AQ0641-692165) so from what I can tell it's a 06 48v DS curtis lQ, it has a motor, a controller, and a solenoid ! Beyond that it's been gutted. Has no charger port, no key switch, I haven't checked the #s on the motor or controler! But they are there! I can't seem to find a photo of the motor compartment, to see what else is missing?
I have 8 new 6v batteries to use but, I still have to get a charger! I'm mechanically inclined and know a little about electronics but, I need a lot of guidance! Photos, diagrams and order of events, etc. Thanks for your time and efforts in advance Bartman357 |

. . . sounds like you bought someone's parts cart . . . I'd pull the motor and controller and have them tested before I put any money into it . . . you may be farther ahead buying a running cart and keeping this one for parts . . . just my opinion . . .

Steve u may b right about that, but I figured that if I was going to be putting money in upgrades in it anyway, I wouldn't have a lot of old parts to get rid of!
Maybe a scotty b upgrade??? |

If it didn't come with a charger the missing obc isn't a problem. Get a DPI charger
