New roof panel
I have a 2000 Club Car DS. The early model with separate front seat backs. It has the original top. The top struts are all natural colored aluminum. The front struts do not taper in at the top. I am looking for a replacement roof panel that
Will bolt on with minimal modification. I see so many modified carts with the heavier duty roof panels with side hand holds molded in, and I suspect they may be from an EzGo or a Yamaha. Anybody made this change that can tell me what you used. Thanks Curtis |

Re: New roof panel
You can put the later club car roof on that has the handles. The easiest way would be to change the front aluminum u bar to the newer style black u bar. It would require a new windshield. iI think I remember someone fitting the newer top to the old style but can't find the thread. Maybe they will see this

Re: New roof panel
Yep Swan put a Precedent roof on a DS, but if you don't want to do any modification, a later style DS roof will bolt right onto your DS using the existing holes...
