Default 2008 4x12 to 6x8 batt conversion?

How involved is this conversion? What all do I need? The threads that are sticky are for older precedents my switch and everything is already on the back wall. Will my battery tray fit the 6 8v batteries the way it is? Anything else I need besides a voltage reducer?

I believe you have the newer style bucket that will hold the 6 8 volt batteries. You will need to get new parts to hold the batteries down, but I don't think you'll have to cut up the plastic like is required on the older models. TahoeDawg can tell you for sure.

They will fit perfectly in your cart. Remove the black plastic piece in the middle of the bucket it just snaps in place then the batts will fit without any mods. Also u need different hold downs I got mine on ebay for $5 each you need 2. I put 6volt batts in my cart but it's basically the same thing.
