Cool, good information.
A bigger controller will increase your torque.

Is it a waste to replace just the controller if you don't do anything else? Not trying to hijack....

Thanks for the quick reply JS, I've been worried abt having enough torque for the bigger tires, but hopefully it will be ok w a controller upgrade. Can anyone recommend a good controller for my use? Also how will it affect runtime if at all?
Thx again
BB

Yes, if you don't upgrade your cables too the increase in current won't be able to flow through the system...

It shouldn't affect runtime all that much.
Scottyb knows this stuff very well, tell him what you want to do and he will tell you what you need...

Ok, so an upgraded controller, along with larger cables? Good idea or waste of time/money? Thanks guys! Again I hope I'm not hijacking from op!

Depends on what you want to do with the cart.
For golf, probably a waste.
A 6 inch lifted hunting cart in hilly terrain, a must.

Oh yeah, and welcome to BGW!

Well personally... Just neighborhood use... Not much off road. I'd like to be in 22-24 mph range. Stock tire size, no lift...
