Default What year for MCOR?

What year did the DS come with the MCOR? Did it actually delete the v glide?
Thanks!

The 2001 DS PowerDrive System 48 and PowerDrive Plus vehicles
with serial numbers AA0112-001470 and greater use a motor controller
output regulator (MCOR). All 2002 and newer DS PowerDrive System 48 and IQ System vehicles are equipped with a motor controller output regulator (MCOR)

Good looking cart!

That means my cousin's 2000 48 volt DS that I put a 36 volt motor in is one of the last V-Glide carts!

I never fail to learn when TahoeDawg posts.

Nice a 2002 Series car. Lots of potential.

My 2004 36V DS has a V-Glide.

Its a resistor cart, right?

I should've been more specific and said some of the last 48 V carts with a V-Glide

From 95 and up all 36v CC were resistor coil drive fleet carts. These carts had the V-glide. From 1991 or 92-95 CC made both solid state and resistor coil 36v carts. They both had a V-glide. These solid state carts and those made prior to 2004 had the resistors on the V-glide converting it to a multi-step potentiometer.
