2000 Club Car DS Regen 48v problems
Hello!!! I'm just started having problems with my golf cart in the title.
The golf cart just started not to go forward/reverse. I will push the accelerator and you can hear the motor try to go, but it will not. On some occasions it will go forward/reverse, but it is not constant. Past work/upgrades... Plum Quick Bandit motor New Batteries Total battery pack voltage is 53.1v I'm running just 4-12v batteries and they all have around 13v. I have checked all connections I can think of and all are good. The cart ran fine for the past 6 months after upgrades....just stumped as to what it can be????? Thanks in advance!!! |

Have you done anything at all to the cart since it was running good?
Did it just not go when you got on it? |

It started not to go forward/reverse every once and a while....then it just got worse. Now it will not do anything.
It also clicks and hums when I push the go pedal...just doesn't move. |

Sounds like some of the problems people have had with the mocor. Some of the smart people will chime in and help you.

Re: 2000 Club Car DS Regen 48v problems
Thank you!!! I just went and checked the connections, batteries, and pack (51.7v). It went into reverse for about 20 feet the stopped with the go pedal still pushed in. Then i tried to go forward and it moved very little, but with no success!! I'll look into the mocor!!!

Re: 2000 Club Car DS Regen 48v problems
Ok...I started looking at the "go" pedal, and an arm runs into a "v" shaped box that has magnets in it. I don't think that is the mcor??? I look inside the v box, and everything looks ok.
I put it in reverse and it moved. I ran it about 2 miles and it ran fine.......I guess is ok, for now????? Thx?? |

You have a v glide I think if you open it again and clean the contacts with scotch brite or emery cloth you may solve the problem.
