Well it dosent sound like your charger is putting anything out......or the charger port isn't wired right...

I cleaned every connection and the male/female charger contact port. Still nothing.

Maybe it is my charger. This is how I tested the charger to see if it works before posting on the forum: took jumper cables and connected the charger to one of my old batteries, turned it on, amp gauge went up, turned it off immediately. Works right? I know its a jimmy-rig but the gauge went up. Therefore it works, right?

I'm close to connecting the charger directly to the battery pack, bypassing the charger port, to see what happens. But it makes me nervous... any ideas? How can I test the charger properly?

you can use your jumper cables but be careful
+ claw foot to positive #1 battery post
- claw foot to #6 battery negative post

DO NOT LEAVE ON LONG JUST SEE IF CHARGER STARTS AN YOU GET VOLTS THROUGH BATTERIES

I forgot about that fuse , although I don't know WHAT it would take to blow the dang thing as I have done EVERYTHING WRONG imaginable to my cart , up too and including electrical fire ......everything melted EXCEPT the fuse...

Fuses good on cart and in front of charger.

It's the charger. I bypassed the connection port and nothing happened. I am embarrassed. My test of attaching the charger to an old battery was dumb. Of course the amp meter would go up, it was one old battery, not 6 new ones. And the volts at the charger plug are reading 26.7. Not 39.6 as Budule got.

I sorry for wasting people's time but I very much appreciate it. As a noobie, should I start a new thread on charger repair or does anyone have a clue about it?

Thanks again (at least all my connections are super clean!!)

Are you sure BOTH the glass fuses on the charger are good ? When I first got my cart I had a similar problem and only one of those fuses was good....
