Default Where to install ScottyB voltage reducer on 2010 Precedent

Where is the best place to mount a voltage reducer on a 2010 Precedent with the 6x8v battery setup? Seems to be cramped most places. Thanks in advance.

I mounted mine up in the front cowl on some aluminum brackets that I made. I also mounted my fuse block up there.

Also found a spare red and black wire behind the dash. Voltmeter only said 3.2 coming from it, but may be incorrect. Can I use these two wires for my voltmeter?

Never mind. Realized it was reading that bc it was switched into tow mode. No reads 50.8v in run mode. Seems the voltmeter should hook up easily. Hoping to get it in tomorrow.

Also saw a spare 4 wire harness with orange end in the the dash. Anybody have an idea what it can be used for? Thanks

There are schematics here in stickies that you can look at your cart years model and see what everything is used for.

The voltage reducer you want to keep a couple things in mind when locating it, air space or flow to keep it cool and someplace that will keep it clean and dry.

I hope not. I'd never have anything to work on if they took the drunks off of the golf course.
