Looks like they sacrificed the seat back supports for the cargo tray. You need to figure out how to resupport the seats. Also your picture is not clear on what the problem is exactly. I just see a seat with a lot of duct tape on it????

I see steel seat mounts off of an old E-Z-Go. Your inner frame structure where these are bolted to, are probably bent just under the plastic body.

I would bolt or weld a horizontal cross member across the front of the bed about 6, 8, 0r 10 inches tall and/or from the uprights of the roof top to the back of the seat backs for support.

Just my idea off the top..............

Thanks guys, I now understand that my seat mounts are not factory and that I'm going to have to do some mods to get them corrected.

ScottyB, my problem is that the passenger seat is bent and neither of them are very stable with any amount of weight against them.

Rusty, do you think that my best bet would be to get the factory roof struts and seat hardware, then do a mod off of the cargo rack to the seat backs/roof struts?

I second Rusty's idea. Have someone or yourself make a cross member that the seat back upright can connect to for support......

No, no need to do that. Just mod the Cargo carrier, or bolt a cross bar on between the roof struts.

If you mod the cargo carrier, do it similar to a small headache rack on a truck with a couple of supports on the sides of the bed at about a 45 degree angle for support and you can weld the seat back mounts to it with no need to use the lower 2 bolts on each seat back upright that bolt through the body.

Just a couple of ideas, improve on it as you want.
