click but no go !!!! help
Ok just installed my new pq motor. First its a 1999 cc ds . had a alltrax dcx 400 in thought the motor was bad so got it done at pq but must have been the alltrax. Install the stock controller now click but no go. Have voltage at both sides of the solenoid but voltage goes away when you press the go pedal. Jump the two wires an motor runs. Please help ready to pull my hair out. Thanks

Re: click but no go !!!! help
When you turn the cart on it clicks then when you press the pedal it clicks but voltage drops. All most like its working backwards. Tryed a different solenoid but still same thing.

Re: click but no go !!!! help
Hmmmmmmm, does it have a v-glide? Maybe pop the cover and see if it's making full range of motion.

Re: click but no go !!!! help
Yes it does. Checked everything I can think of. Cleaned the vglide. Someone told me it could be one of the resistors or diodes on the vglide?? Thanks

Re: click but no go !!!! help
I really don't know much about the v-glides, but I think you're right, they have resistors that cause problems.
Hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in... |

Re: click but no go !!!! help
the voltage goes away because it is flowing current through the solenoid, break the connection you get the potential there.

Re: click but no go !!!! help
What is the status of your batteries/? It is going into limp mode. You may want to swap back the old motor and see if it works. It could be a defective motor.
