Voltage reducer install
I just installed a 48 to 12 volt isolated voltage converter on my 99 DS. Turned out pretty good.
Amps draw with head lights, tail lights and brake lights on. To the converter input 48 volt lead. |

Re: Voltage reducer install
It is a power stream. They are on the net.
I have one on each cart. The 12 volt side is completely isolated from the 48 volt input. It does not reduce the voltage with resistance it uses a transformer induction to convert to 12 volts. The draw on the pack is very low. And on edit, it does not get hot. Last edited by mrgolf; 05-08-2014 at 08:46 PM.. Reason: Spelling |
