Precedent better cables
Based on what I read here, my cart (2010 Precedent) runs decent for having a dealer installed high speed motor.. I am going to install (just ordered from a forum vendor) 2 gauge cables. I did notice the cables were warmer than expected when I got home the other day..
Having not swapped a set out before, (I am replacing all of them) do I need to get under the cart to do the ones running to the motor or can I reach them all from the top and back of the cart? Thanks in advance for the info.. |

Re: Precedent better cables
Have to take the cover off the electrical compartment. I found it better from under it.

Another thought. Be sure and flip the switch from run to tow.

Re: Precedent better cables
I find it easy to get to the motor area with the basket removed on my DS carts.

You may already plan to, only change one at a time.

Re: Precedent better cables
Take the center two batteries out and fold the controller panel down. It's secured by one T-40 torx bolt at the top. Remove rear access door to take them loose from the motor. You don't have to get under a Precedent to do this.
