Will this work with a shunt IQ cart?

This works for series motors that have a F-R lever and a MCOR that output goes from 5K down to 0 ohms.

I don't know the answer since I have not owned an IQ yet, but I suspect "no". The slow down for IQ would be accomplished through other means like programming, probably. Sergio might know the correct answer. He helped me confirm my idea.

It should work, but the actual circuit will depend on your throttle configuration.
The 3 wire voltage divider and the 2 wire 0-5k will only need a single resistor and a on-off switch. If your controller uses a 2 wire 5K-0 setup, it will need 2 resistors and a DPDT switch (I posted a diagram in post #17).
If you measure the output You are getting from the mcor/pot from pedal up to full throttle, we can calculate the resistor/resistors and configuration it will take.
