Slow this puppy down...
Need to slow our cart down some. Has anyone ever made a circuit that simply added addition resistance to the MCOR feed to the controller with a flip of a switch?
Am I dreaming... seems pretty simple. Thanks, M |

Put a block of wood behind the go pedal.

Re: Slow this puppy down...
I did spend money and I am 100% satisfied but my wife and a couple of her friends drive it around our neighborhood. The tendency to go too fast since they are not familiar with its handling could get someone hurt. I would like a switch for when I drive it and we let other folks drive it. No block of wood, that would be tacky.

Re: Slow this puppy down...
If you used a 3 way switch and left the middle position dead, couldn't that be used as a kill switch for the cart? Put it in a hidden location and you've got yourself a theft prevention device.

Re: Slow this puppy down...
Sounds like a good idea. Wonder if a broken connection could hurt MCOR or Controller?

Re: Slow this puppy down...
Maybe the DOG could chime in, but if you put a resistor in the mix the controller may not funcation correctly.
