The charger will say 'powerdrive' on it. The cart will say it to on the side below the seat. Onhe thing confuses me you say 48v cart with a 36v motor?

Re: 1999 Club Car....power drive?
The charger does have "powerdrive" on it. The only thing on the side of the cart is the companys name - Ingersoll-Rand. What is it that makes up a "powerdrive"...just a fancy word meaning 48v or is there more to it?
It does have a GE 36v motor in it - 3.5hp 3000rpm. I don't know why they did it. Cart goes 18mph but has motor noise at very low speed. I changed the bad rotor bearings to help a little. thanks |
