Default 2009 precedent club car

Goes as soon as you hit the pedal but "stalls"for a second or two. Checked water in batteries and made sure all connections are tight.Any advise?

If you accelerate slowly, does it stall? If you mash the pedal quickly, there should be a slight delay.

It does not happen while accelerating. After going few minutes at normal speed it slows and then picks up again. Almost like as if you are driving your car and take your foot off the gas.

Try a speed sensor test to check it (located in the stickies above).

it's a forum topic that is commonly asked so it has been identified as a "sticky" so it's easily found at the top of a forum. You can locate them on page one. Several subjects there that you should find useful.

As to original question... no expert here but what you described almost sounds like the regen kicking in once max speed has been reached. There are a ton of discussions on this if you search regen or speed magnet.

I'd recommend doing the test also as a starting point. More specifics may be needed like... IQ or Excell cart (See sticky on serial numbers and Guide to tell if Club Car is Series or Sepex(regen) system)). Also, any known mods to the system (controller, motor, etc).

Plenty of folks here to help (they've helped me tons) with issues when they have the info to work from.
