Default 97 DS 48 volt solenoid clicks and won't move and charger won't turn on

This club car will click the solenoid and it will move maybe 1 in and that is it. The battery pack showed 47.4 and I checked to see if the solenoid was dropping out and it didn't. Also the charger will not turn on. Charger is fine I put it on my neighbors and charger fired right up. Any ideas what is going on???

To start with you need to get the batteries charged up then see what you have.

Your batteries are at about 35% charge. You will need to charge them one at a time with an auto charger to get them up to where your charged will kick on. The after that do not run them all the way down before charging.

I used the 12 volt 2 amp setting once on each individual 8 volt battery in a guy's cart to get 'em all up to where the cart charger would kick on, just keep a good eye on them and don't let 'em go too long.

Maybe someone else has done it another (better or safer) way?

to by pass OCB
DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.…do not attempt unless you are familiar with electricity and electronics!
There are two ways to force the charger to turn on regardless of the OBC.

The first method is to disconnect the cart’s gray wire at the fuse near the charger receptacle. Then using a jumper wire, connect the receptacle side of the fused connector to the cart’s negative battery terminal. This will energize the charger’s 48V relay.then plug charger in
